I WILL WALK

Words and Music by Howie Klausner & Ron Eng

The fog is lifting. The storm is over.
I see a way, and it's clear.
The darkness is gone now, my eyes are open.
And I feel your heart, beating near.

And I will walk, and not grow weary.
I will run, so strong.
And I will love the one who's with me.
I will never be alone.
Yes you know me, better than I know me.
And you waited, patiently.
My running is over, can I come home now?
The man you want is what I want to be.

Repeat chorus

Taking my poisons, living my lies.
The man I was, I don't recognize.
The way you love me, I just can't see...
How did you love a man like me?

Solo

And I will walk, and not grow weary.
I will run, so strong.
And I will love the one who's with me.
I will never be alone.

PRODUCTION NOTES

The first time we let the Movies Chorus choir 'just rip it' was on I WILL WALK. I actually
grew up singing old time gospel in Nashville, and they just took me right back singing it
like this. I loved The Edwin Hawkins Singers way back then (still do), I guess this was
our bow to them. The song's about figuring some things out as a man.
